Today, the Cyprus Peace and Dialogue Center (CPDC) visited President Tufan Erhürman for a productive exchange of views on recent developments in the Cyprus peace process.

We briefed him on CPDC’s ongoing work on peace process design, civic participation and bicommunal dialogue.

We welcomed his constructive engagement with the UN Secretary-General’s new initiative and his emphasis on the need for a process that can create real prospects for progress.

We thank President Erhürman for receiving us and look forward to continuing to contribute, as CPDC, to efforts that strengthen public ownership, dialogue and a viable path towards a comprehensive settlement. CPDC stands ready to support efforts with ideas and initiatives.

Participants: Meltem Onurkan-Samani, Erol Kaymak, Elvan Yılmazata, Sıla Uluçay and Yaren Müezzin.
