We are profoundly saddened by the passing of our founding member, Katie Clerides.
Katie was more than a co-founder. She was a guiding spirit whose warmth, integrity, and faith in dialogue touched everyone who had the privilege to know her.
Her lifelong devotion to peace and reconciliation in Cyprus has left an indelible mark on our island’s collective conscience.
At the Cyprus Peace and Dialogue Centre, we will remember Katie not only for her vision and courage, but for her kindness and her quiet strength in believing that empathy could overcome division.
Her presence will be deeply missed, yet her legacy will continue to guide our work and our hopes for a united Cyprus.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who share in this great loss.
