Dr. Meltem Onurkan Samani, founding president of the Cyprus Peace and Dialogue Center (CPDC), highlighted the importance of peace and unity events in Nicosia in a recent article published by BBC Turkish.

Samani emphasized that while cultural activities such as singing and dancing together help strengthen dialogue between communities, they are not enough to resolve the Cyprus issue. “We must raise our voices for peace and demand political solutions,” she stated.
